Geotab Engine Data gives you the ability to remotely gather data about the fleet with out having to touch the assets. You will see in this document how you can get data related to vehicle health, related to fuel economy, and Related to asset utilization. Not all engine data is the same you will see that just because a device plugs into the diagnostic port does not mean the data provided is the same. Most OBD plug ins on the market just get power, and few get fault codes. Status Data is unique non-fault related data Electric health (battery, alternator and starter) at rest and at work, and CalAmpdevices can’t get information off of Fords.
